It seems like I'm shortchanging you to just say "read and understood" when you go to the trouble of explaining yourself like that. I guess it's the nature of the BBS beast that a disagreement is worth a thousand words, while agreement/understanding is just worth a "yep". I thought about borrowing a convention from communication protocols, putting just "ACK" in the subject line for acknowledgment of receipt, "NAK" for negative acknowledgment...but "ACK" could be taken the wrong way. Well, having defined the term...
