Re: Isn’t today the 17th anniversary of Challenger?
i remeber sitting out front at St. Petersburg Votec eating lunch and watching the exaust trail from that launch and the this huge puff followed by dividing trails. i knew in my mind what had happened but i didn't wnat to admit it until i went inside to the administration office where they had the news on the T.V.
like all of you i was shocked and saddened by what i was seeing.sometimes i still think it a shear miracle that we recovered from that program wise as quickly as we did.
But it remains an image i will never forget.
