note 1:

In Greek mythology Prometheus was nicknamed 'Forethought' because he was regarded as the planner and designer of the human race.

Bringer of light and civilisation to earth, he ensured its survival.

He gave us the arts and sciences, appropriately becoming mankind's first teacher.

His own powers of regeneration were legendary - he had no problem lending people a hand!

It is most apt that he should give his name to this human resources consultancy.

Note 2 from : http://www.nasawatch.com/

Despite rumors that NASA is planning to send humans to Mars, O'Keefe did not name a destination for Project Prometheus. He said the space agency needs to develop technologies before NASA can address "any number of exploration opportunities and any number of destinations."
