Anyone whose read the paper and has a basic understanding of electrodynamics can see that it's junk.
The whole premise of this frozen ocean is the system of induced currents which are supposedly the tell-tale sign. The fact that such induced currents are totally F'n unphysical seems besides the point.
Oh gawd, here it comes....
