One US flag on the Moon

Hello,
After viewing the Apollo 16 DVD's, there's a 40 minute long sequence of shots taken AFTER the LM left Descartes.
Apparently, the LRV TV camera went on working fine while the astronauts returned back to Earth and we see a different kind of Sun angle (shorter shadows).
One thing that was quite interesting: the US flag is still standing. But at an angle. If the vertical station is at 90 degrees, the pole is something like bent to 50 or 60 degrees.
I've never so far been able to see a flag after LM liftoff; thanks to the DVD's, it changed.
