The most ardent meteor-hunters go after the more chunky fallout at the poles, but only because the rocks stand out well against a solid white background. The majority of the larger crap will stike the oceans, and the majority of the lighter, dusty crap will be attracted to the poles -- though will also circulate via air currents.
