Yes, with something burning up the atmosphere evidence will be somewhere halfway between nil and zip.
That means Ridge is going to get his first major investigation and the footwork that goes with it - because the only way one can find out if it was sabotaged is by putting the head to the ground and finding out what people know. I don't expect Al Qaida, Hezbollah or anybody else to take credit for it.
I'll wait patiently for more information - but I predict a long wait.
