Re: All too close. Everyone is making verbal gaffes.

I loved living in Nacogdoches. Tonight, the oldest town in Texas is in the history books again.

Much of the shuttle debris landed in and around Lake San Rayburn. Remember those two wonderful comets that were visible back in the 1990's. I saw one of them from the shores of that lake. It was a wonderful sight. The sky was dark, full of stars and the comet (started with an H, but I can spell it right now) stretched across the sky. The heavens were beautiful that night. Now those same shores have pieces of the Colombia on them. The sky is clear and cold over East Texas tonight, so I am sure the stars are blazing over that lake as I type here.

So I have that to my North, and not far to myself is Clear Lake, home of NASA, and were some of the people that died today lived.
