Here is an obervation I have made:
I saw several times on FOX news the footage of the Command Center in Houston shortly BEFORE contact was lost with the shuttle. I stress BEFORE contact was lost because if you look at the people in that control center they all look worried and concerned that something is terribley wrong. You can see it in their faces while they were still in contact with the shuttle. They all look like they have an "OH my Gosh" expression and are sitting on the edge of their seats. I have seen the replay of this several times. Did anyone else notice that? This is not to say that I think they shouldn't have been concerned that Columbia was reentering earths atmopshere and it was a critical moment. My point is that usually there is excitment and joy on their faces. I see doom on their faces even before they lost contact. Having said this I now want to say that this is my observation and not an accusation. I fully support NASA and always will.
Did Command Control "know" something was about to happen?
