I've read as many of your posts as possible on this webpage, today...It must be over 100 different posts I've read from all of you.
All of them thoughtful; all of them respectful; all of them poignant.
It takes alot out of you/me emotionally to read it all, and to throw in some comments, opinions and even suggestions too.
Please, don't give up on NASA.
I know I've been cynical of many things NASA has done, or not done, lately...But if you've read ALL of my post ["silver lining"] on that other thread, then you'll know there are
optimistic possibilities, by cruel irony, opened up by this tragedy.
I think that your Congressman, or woman, would consider the viewpoint/suggestion I've given worth considering.
I also hope that those two Mars Rovers
NASA is hoping to send to Mars this year
will be named "COLUMBIA" and "CHALLENGER".
I remember that Lewis & Clark was my suggestion for their names; and
"Orville & Wilbur" were even better name-suggestions given by Larry.
But....COLUMBIA and CHALLENGER are
the only names now fitting for those two Mars rovers.
Good night. And may God comfort you in this time of grief.
Jacob
My final post, today.
