tom my gutt feelings that.
maybe just all the tiles in that area poped off first then the hatch.
or
like throwing a stone on water and it skiping across it until a flame into the gear door area ( explain the drag before)
but still need more info as it could have been anything still.
as you know its a case of finding out what happened not changing what happened to fit a guess.
