A cautionary note on debris in Arizona

I have seen the Arizona video many times now, and while I'm not an expert, I am convinced it is important to the investigation.
At the same time I think it is important to say something about the reports of shuttle debris allegedly found in central Phoenix. It now appears that high emotions and a simple house fire are to blame for these reports. The FBI and local Hazmat teams have analyzed the material, and found it to be simple ash from a home that burned Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service has pointed out that the Orbiters track was almost 180 miles north of Phoenix. Additionally, the jet stream was moving across the track and to the northeast at about 129 MPH. As they point out, debris that may have fallen from Columbia, at an altitude over 200,000 feet, and Mach 18, would more than likely wind up in extreme north eastern Arizona or the Four Corners area, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado.
