Alternative Fuels for Space Shuttles
EZ Rocket uses isopropyl alcohol as a fuel in its re-usable rocket engines. This fuel is a liquid at room temperature & pressure. The space shuttle uses hydrogen, and that is why the external tank has insulation at the top. If the space shuttle used isopropyl alcohol as fuel the external tank would not require insulation - a piece of which broke off and damaged Columbia.
