Looking for Columbia Debris. Not as easy as it looks.
After seeing the reports of a piece of Columbia being found about 6 miles from my house, I went home yesterday and scoured my yard to make sure there was nothing there. I even checked my roof. I think everyone in the debris field needs to search.
I didn’t think I would find anything, being 120 miles from the center of breakup. Any debris in my area should be few and far between. I didn’t find anything, but it made me appreciate what a daunting task those searchers have looking for debris. It is not easy looking for something that you do not know how big it is, or what it looks like.
