Not really. As to the universe, this data supports those who think it expands forever. What happend over "billions and Billions" of years is that all the matter gets burnt up in stars or sucked into black holes and the univers dies a cold, dark lack of heat death. Forever.
It says nothing about the Earth's expected lifetime which is far, far shorter.
