Russia to help keep ISS in shape
There are discussions between Russia and the USA concerning the Station.
Alan Bean wants the US to help Russia maintain the station, even financially.
There could be a crew of two: one US and one Russian astronaut who could spend a lot more time inside ISS, consuming less than 3 astronauts.
I read somewhere that there's a law prohibiting financial help to Russia because it helps Iran's nuclear energy projects.
