Flawed economics on shuttle successor

The arguements in this article are pretty easy to understand. NASA seems to be on a collision course with the past. First we have SkyLab II a.k.a. ISS at ORDERS of MAGNITUTE more cost than SkyLab. Now we propose to spend ten to the tenth dollars to build a lower capacity cshuttle that most probably will NOT bring crews to orbit much less expensively. More money for aerospace employers in key congressional districts.
