Re: New lunar crater
Well, Del, there are amateurs all over the world looking at the Moon at any time.
Some even have spotted flashes (impacts) during a Leonid shower.
Jack Schmitt saw a flash too, from orbit.
It seems to be happening fairly frequently and there will one day be an opportunity to explore such a crater.
