I'm convinced that we have the means and the predilection to modify our bodies. It's the nanobot bloodstream fantasy details that I'm skeptical about. That kinda stuff is WAY further off than Kurz's quarter century. All that being said, there could be people born today who will be alive far into the 22nd century and possibly beyond.
I love reading that stuff too.
