Radio report - shuttle wing impacted in orbit?
Had the misfortune of listening to Imus this AM when a reporter who covers NASA was on.
Said that there's physical evidence that the left wing was penetrated on the TOP side. (Remember launch debris impacted on the leading edge and underside. Probably impacted while in orbit. NASA is correlating with a NORAD observed object re-entering the atmosphere close to where the shuttle was in orbit.
