Isn't that the very definition of satire? You can poke fun at New York Liberal Jews (like Woody Allen does, and he IS one!), cops (Car 54 and Police Academy), potheads (Cheech and Chong), hippies (the Great Lebowski), Rockers (Spinal Tap), gays (Will and Grace), college students( Animal House) and so on.
Comedy is fair game, even if its mean spirited. Racism is not.
