[guffaw], [chuckle]

"One question to r.l. WHY do YOU post on this site?"

I assume tis the same reason I and others come here- to see, inquire about and exchange informed data on matters regarding Space, and to spar on politics. I think Rob has every right to police the quality of posts on the Space board, He is, after all, a very well trained and accompolished Physicist... It is clearly within his self interest and with in the self interest of most parties here to police the quality of the data and posts. I don't wanna get as down-right Nasty as the Elder Mr. Lafon, so I'm glad he does the 'wetwork'.

<Go on, Rob, Get the bastards!>

"Is it only to show how to cover up ignorance by spouting profanity or do you have some other reason."

I would gander that it is his desire to foster a community of academic and personal interest. That extends more than just discourse with and the complimenting of his peers, but in the encouraging of trolls to troll elsewhere.

And now for the battle of worthless and subjective idioms:
"Someone has said that the only stupid guestion is the one that was not asked"

And Chan Buddhism would have you believe that the ONLY question of worth is the one that is not asked. I will decide to take that as a maxim for the duration of my post here. So then I can say to you: stop asking worthless questions.

"cover up ignorance "
And where is your world class observatory or one-of-a-kind laser, Hmmm? Rob may be ignorant about *some* things (I will attest!), but matters astronomical aint included there. ;-)
