They really speak for a great many people (and would most probably jump at the chance to get back up there).
We need a Schmitt to bring back Martian core samples. We will be very lucky to see a robotic mission accomplish that in our life time. (A dare either way. :)

- As if it needed to be said, I have absolutely nothing against robotic space missions such as Galileo, Cassini-Huygens... to Aldebaran(Pioneer 10) and beyond.
