I wonder how they get them ready to fly until they find out what went wrong with the last one.

Unless they go on statistics, and say there's a bit less than a 2% chance of failure, or what they call LOCV.

They've had things fall off before, a small door as I recall. And postponed a flight because of things left laying around which could have fallen and caused damage.

When there's a series of small mistakes, it's inevitable there will be a large one. It's the same mental lapse which causes each.

I'd feel much better about the next flight if there were some known cause of the last failure. (I'd still take the ride if I had a chance, though.)
