Questioning is not 'sniping.'

The trouble with blindly following the latest fashion -- in planetary matters and most others -- is that questioning all but stops. Discovery and understanding stops. Progress stops. Reversion and regression soon follow.

Now if that's the state of study some folks prefer, that's
fine, for them. If all they want to do is argue the finest jots and tittles, endlessly, over and over again, that's fine, for them. If they prefer not to ask hard questions, or any questions, and prefer not to bother looking for answers, that's fine, for them.

It's not fine for me.

Oh well!
