Re: Remember the L5 Society's Phone Tree?
In 1990, I was reading an article (in Astronomy) by a certain Harris, organizer of sun eclipse tours; I wrote to him about tours at the KSC (to see launches) and he answered back by suggesting to write to both the NSS and TPS, which I did. After that, I got documentation from both and became member of both societies. The NSS was a recent merge of L5 society and National Space Institute, so I never really got involved with the L5 society except through buying Space Colonies (A CoEvolution Book) by Stewart Brand, 1977. Full of fascinating articles!
Still have the book!!
