Columbia 2.5 years on PAD?
CNN has a story about how long Columbia stayed on the launch pad prior to missions and speculation is corrosion contributed to the loss of orbiter. Since it was the first STS vehicle to fly and it remained on pad this long, would the bolts/inner wing corrode and did NASA inspect the leading edges of each wing for this type of corrosion?
