Re: Barlow, the lens.

Barlow
Peter Barlow (1776-1862) was born in Norwich, England on 13 October 1776, and as a mathematician and a physicist he is best known for his numerical tables, his magnification lens for use in telescopes, and a precursor of the electrical motor called Barlow’s wheel.
