Space/Science

A *fundamental* question...

Please note: I genuinely hope the following is near-enough 'on topic' to, as local colloquialism has it, "float" here! :)

It seems to *me* that gravitation is the "force" experienced of a mass during alteration of *chronological* velocity?

Similarly, I assert that mass "forces" are those experienced of a mass during alteration of *spatial* velocity?

(Note: I doubt that 'time' & the 'dimensions of space' are dissimilar entities - Though we perceive them as such owing to our "forced" motion along the former...)

Ok, given the assertions of the 2'nd & 3'rd paragraphs above (granted -- a *BIG* "given" ;) --- It seems Gravitation and 'orthodox' "Mass Forces" are *NOT* forces at all - but, rather, *REACTIONS*!?!?

Am I making *ANY* sense???

Please be advised that these notions are all my *own* hence if "they be a right dog's dinner" guess I'll have to reach for the fork all by me lonesome :,(

Sincerely interested in reactions, comments and (heaven forbid) corrections :)

Best regards
Dan Sarandon :)

PS - Note that M-Theory (Membrane-Theory) - (a.k.a. Superstring Theory, etc) *SEEMS* to offer some support of these views (though so 'obliquely' as to allow for ingress of personal bias on the part of the 'ponderer'…)
