Hello all,
Before sunset, I webcamized the Moon with some shots of Sernitatis, Taurus Littrow etc..then,
after sunset, I took my 20 x 80 binoculars, the bike, and rushed to the haven where I'd have a clear view westward. Indeed, there it was, planet Mercury, right on top of buildings on the left bank of the river Scheld! Not much but a point of light, but it was Mercury!
Going south and up, you see the Pleiades (M45), then further up, the Moon (great crescent) right next to Saturn (its rings are at maximum inclination, now). Further up, Jupiter with the Beehive (M44).
A great sunset; and oh yes, ISS passed a little earlier!
