I love that urban legend and even cited it last February when discussing the supercold foam. As a simple analogy, which would you rather be pelted by, a raw egg or a hard boiled (or even frozen) one. The impact dynamics would be rather different, as I suspect the supercold foam's characterists would probably be different than foam at room temperature.
