There are guys, over here, who question the authenticity of the shot (because, if it's filmed, there should be a big contrast between the brilliance of the Moon and the darkness of the station-when I saw Mir cross the Moon, it vanished from sight while it crossed the Moon); now, it is possible that the guy took every single frame and changed the brilliance of the station, once it passed the sunlit side of the Moon.
