You know, Alex, I had an acquaintance many years ago who used to yell at his wife for doing things which he viewed as incredibly stupid. Of course, he was one of the most intelligent people in the country, but I still don't think that yelling at his wife was a good idea.

Being mis-understood comes with the territory, and you either find a way to communicate your ideas more clearly, or you find a better audience, or you get used to being misuderstood. If there's any other option I haven't found it yet, though I keep trying.

By the way, there's damn little water on Mars, and the planet is not Earth-like, it's Mars-like, dammit. No amount of public money spent supporting bad science is going to change either that, or the fundamental laws of physics.
