Re: Hellas Basin on Mars: Water, Liquid CO2, or both?

I thought it looked like your handiwork.

Hellas would be a great place to set up a weather station and to dig in the dirt.

Any water in the basin, at least near the surface, has probably boiled away into the thin atmosphere, but we will not know what is there until we send some landers.

It might be a good place to set up a base.
