Re: The Space Review

I've always suspected the regulation strangle hold excuse was a smoke screen for other failures. Most industry is regulated with regard to worker, environmental and consumer safety. It is unreasonable to expect space will be different and irresponsible to want it. Those perceived as the most dangerous industries are the most regulated. With obvious issues of cash flow and design setbacks there are plenty of obvious reasons for failure. The FAA and Congress seems to be reasonable on this issue. It looks life the amatuers haven't even really tried seriously to clear the regulatory hurdle until recently.

I like the certified passenger approach. Hope that goes through.

Mark
