I didn't mention water in the post you responded to.

I am not an expert on fluid dynamics, but a gas would have to be very dense to cause meanders in rock and sand.

Dust can appear to flow as a liquid, but I have never seen it cut meanders. Of course, Mars is different from the Earth.
