I wonder if a netting mad of these things would make a good solar shade for the Earth or Venus.
If they could be flexed in such a way, they could even vary the amount of Solar Radiation getting through, allowing a more precise control of the weather.
With the right technology, a solar shade built of carbon nanotubes could be built using material from a carbon rich asteroid.
