Re: Beluga

Hi Raoul,

The Beluga is a MUCH more modern plane.

The guppy though is a steady old workhorse. It's amazing to think that the old rattletrap is used to ferry parts of the ISS around.

When I was down there, I peppered one of the crewmembers with so many questions, he gave myself and some friends a tour including of the BIG bay, cockpit and control cables.

He related a story of lifting off from Ellington Field over Highway 3, a driver was soo stunned by the sight, she was involved in an accident.
Apparently she tried to sue NASA.

Reminded me of a lawsuit filed by a man who while having unprotected relations, lost 'control' and impregnated his girlfriend after he claimed he was startled by a sonic boom from the Concorde, back when they still went supersonic over land.
