It's Mars - 20 degress above the WSW horizon at the date and time on the photo (azimuth ~240.5), 86.5% illumination

Methodology:

Old (1999) copy of the shareware version of CyberSky, set to 89:59:39 S Lat.(0 Long.; doesn't matter much that close to where the lines converge), backstepped to 3 May 03, 13:52:08 UT
