The Patrouille Acrobatique de France is 50 years old.
There's at this moment a show lasting two and a half hours on the french public TV channel France 2, about the PAF. Great images, wonderful feelings and no commercial breaks at all.
The first commander was Lachenal. He's 83 now. Jean-Claude Killy is also invited, Michel Drucker, the animator, also flew aboard an Alpha Jet, as did the defense minister, misses Alliot-Marie.
And the unforgettable "Les Chevaliers du Ciel" which is a song and a TV serie from the 60's. Chevaliers du Ciel: Knights of the sky.

I remember them when they flew on Fouga Magisters; we'd hear at the airshow meeting the commader order "eclatement top....top....et top! and the planes would separate two by two.
