Since I can see a visible disk for Jupiter from Earth, and Mars gets closer, the answer is simple (Just had an eye-test and my vision is down to 30/20 from its original 40/20)
- yes, I can read at 30' what mr average can read at 20'!
Earth fom Venus? Ditto, since I can see a visible crescent for Venus from Earth...
