or at least the regional superpower is israel. They have been a good proxy presence in the past. Despite people accusing our support for them is based on political action commitees is not true since our funding for israel (which by an agreement a majority of it is paid back to us since they must by from OUR arms industry) there has been no relation established to indicate that, rather there has been a relation established that our funding for them goes up whenever they implement mroe of our policy. So I could pose the question why shoud we bother being in the gulf if we can get israel to do our work for us?
