So where's that stock market crash?
You may be aware that a major German bank predicted that revised productivity figures released this morning would show dramatically lowered productivity for past years, and trigger a stock market crash. Fox news picked up this report, too, quite irresponsibly.
Well, the productivity figures are out, 1996-2000 show only slight downward revision, the 2nd quarter of 2001 shows a big jump up (yeah!) and of course there is no stock market crash.
Nor is there any $3.00/gallon gasoline in the US this Summer!
