Aside from property taxes I pay very little. And I get more than I pay from Uncle Sugar. I don't get all I could because I strongly dislike some of the bastards. There's a principle.
However, I am a single man who has had to depend upon myself for health insurance, for instance, for a long time. Haven't had Union benefits for a long time.
But the difference is that I'm not touting wars and military spending and bitching about the taxes I do pay. I'm not complaining about what I do pay going to the less fortunate.
I'm not complaining about Unions and enjoying what they have negotiated.
That sort of thing.
