Re: Touchy issue

Simone Weil, who was health minister under Giscard d'Estaing and who had been in a concentration camp during WWII once said it is wrong to mix antizionism with antisemitism. I met once a jewish Israeli (in Israel) who also opposed the settlements. And there was an article in a newspaper a few months ago written by a rabbi who said "you need to deserve the promised land", not to claim it; it is something you must deserve.
If the Israelis feel being against the settlements and in favor of a country for the Palestinians is being antisemitist, then we won't achieve much anytime soon.
Just tonight at the news, they interviewed a french born jewish family that just settled in the middle of the Gaza strip. At the comment from the reporter "You know there is international condemnation for what you are doing there". their answer was: it's God's will and we follow it. I had to sigh, hearing this!
