Not only do we need missile defense, but we need an even more intensive proactive miltary presence in space both recon and ASAT operations.

We also need better security screening measures for our classified materials, projects and installations.

Not that you should fire everyone who is Chinese and works at your aerospace defense firm...but when 40% of the staff are Chinese...and management seems to see nothing unusal about this....you have both espionage and corruption hand in hand or espionage and total idiocy.

Probably both.

The US is making intensive strides in these endeavors and the executive order which Clinton bandied about at the end of his term...is much more understood and respected by the Bush team.

You wont see any whimpering about withdrawing from the SALT ABM treaty either. Russia will need us when China becomes equal in military might to the US.

The Chinese munitions makers are comparable to western tech 1 in 10 times. But when they WANT to they can rival Soviet or Western workmanship. Their planes are a perfect example.

It has been easy to say they still lag behind us in sophisticated delivery and guidance systems.

SURPRISE - Espionage and political corruption has been aimed at amending this defficiency. And AMAZINGLY easy for them to do on Clinton's watch!

However, once they have 1000 or more pointed at California and soon the rest of the USA...people will take notice. Bush already has and is doing his best to make it happen....we all need to be loud vocal proponents - even though loud vocal advocacy is a liberal trait, we must co-op it for certain purposes.
