A beginning list of heroes...
- The plane that crashed in rural Pennsylvania apparently avoided being hijacked into a weapon of destruction. It is unknown what its target would have been, but it seems from where I sit that the crew somehow fought off the hijackers. Unfortunately, the plane still crashed in an uninhabited area, but one can only imagine how many other lives were saved.
- There were any number of firefighters and rescue workers at the WTC when the first tower collapsed.
There were still rescuers there when the second tower collapsed.
Rescuers who had seen the first tower go.
Remember them.
