I hope everyone remembers where they were when they first heard of this, it will be asked for a long time to come.

I wan sitting in class when a girl told me but I didn't really beleive it until afterwards and I was able to hit the computer lab. Of course CNN and all the other sites were shut down and I had to see it for my self on a foreign news site.

Even then I coudl beleive it, one of the towers collapsed?! No way, the Chineese enws site is blwoign it out of proportion. . . . then I learned both collapsed. My God.

the student comons was filled with people watching it, taht about the only time itreally sunk in when I saw the moving video of the plane crashing and buildings collapsing. . . .

I agree that we are in a state of War. I am wary of blaming it on Osama Bin Ladden, I strongly suspected that he was a scape goat because we didn't know who the real perpetrator was in the attacking of the cole and US enbasys in africa. However this is too serious. We need to find and not hunt down, but anihilate with the arsenal of democracy the people responsible and anyone who stands in our way, regardless of cowering pleas for mercy and non cuplability.

No doubt anyone who did pull this off is not going to take credit. With most terrorist attacks they need to in order to influence U.S. policy, but for something so big, the implications are not 'symbolic'. This country is hurt not in our emotional hearts but in the hearts of our prosperity and economic ability, a full scale conventional attack would only dream of being so succesful.

No the only acceptable response is extreme force. to knock down whoever did it and no regards should be given the country harboring the person who did it. They should get out of the way or they will get hit as well.
