You can let it go now. It's OK, really. You expressed an opinion and thought better of it. Hold your head up: you participated in a small demonstration showing the importance of exchanging ideas and of freedom of speech. :) Pretty soon it will be pushed off the page into oblivion, and you'll never have to look at it again.
And for what it's worth, I doubt anyone else here wants a war either. But we have one anyway. It remains for us to defend ourselves.
