What if it were possible for, not only the runners to demand equal time, but also the people? every time a party-political announcement is aired, a news agency, any news media with national coverage, polling the populace could continually badger the voters with their own lost memories, stating what the nation is truly calling for. It should run every time, and be new each time -- and I don't mean just some already-bored commentator muttering about how much Gallup likes or dislikes an incumbent. Real details on real issues, with coverage that includes at least the region the politician would be responsible for.
